Volleyball Preview: Watseka Warriors vs. Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers
Watseka and Paxton-Buckley-Loda are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Watseka Warriors will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Watseka will be strutting in after a win while Paxton-Buckley-Loda will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Thursday, Watseka was able to grind out a solid victory over Milford, taking the game 2-0.
Watseka easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-20.
Meanwhile, Paxton-Buckley-Loda came up short against St. Thomas More on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16.
Watseka has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, their loss dropped their record down to 10-23.
