Baseball Recap: Cisco Loboes vs. Winters Blizzards

After flying high against Winters last Tuesday, Cisco came back down to earth. The Loboes fell just short of the Blizzards by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Loboes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blizzards earlier this season, when they won 14-4.

Pecos Duke made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Rainey, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Cisco's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-2. As for Winters, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7-1.

Cisco will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bangs at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Winters, they will square off against Miles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
