Baseball Recap: Kent Denver Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Kent Denver's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Colorado Academy Mustangs on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sun Devils of the 12-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Kent Denver saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Perry, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Kent Denver has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Colorado Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

While Kent Denver had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
