Basketball Recap: Riverdale Takes a Loss

Riverdale made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Shullsburg, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Chieftains fell just short of the Miners by a score of 73-70 on Monday. The Chieftains just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shullsburg, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Riverdale will welcome Ithaca at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shullsburg, they will square off against Highland at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Miners their first taste of in-conference action this season.
