Softball Recap: Myrtle Point Comes Up Short

Myrtle Point lost against Toledo on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats lost 16-1 to the Boomers. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by exactly 15 runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Myrtle Point and nudges their season record down to 1-10. As for Toledo, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Myrtle Point is set to face off against their familiar foe Reedsport at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Toledo will square off against rival Gold Beach at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
