Softball Recap: Commerce Takes a Loss

Commerce saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell just short of the Wolfe City Wolves by a score of 11-10.

Cayelin Crow was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was Karis Lewis, who scored two runs and stole four bases.

Commerce's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Commerce will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lindsay at 1:00 p.m. As for Wolfe City, they will venture away from home to square off against Bishop Lynch at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
