Softball Recap: Ashley Herman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Northgate over San Ramon Valley

Northgate lost against San Ramon Valley back in March of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Northgate might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-3 to San Ramon Valley, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northgate saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashley Herman, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Northgate's record now sits at 3-2. As for San Ramon Valley, their record now sits at 7-2-1.

Looking ahead, Northgate will face off against Berean Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northgate's pitchers better be ready for this one: Berean Christian has averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season. As for San Ramon Valley, they will square off against Monte Vista at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
