Softball Recap: South Fremont Cougars vs. Bonneville Bees
After having lost a blowout in their previous game, South Fremont was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Bonneville Bees 17-16. With that victory, the Cougars brought their scoring average up to 7.5 runs per game.

Lexi Peebles was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Leah Lehmann, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.
South Fremont's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Bonneville, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.
Coming up, South Fremont will head out to challenge Kimberly at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Bonneville, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Blackfoot at 3:30 p.m.
