Softball Recap: West Bolivar Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Bolivar can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 17-0 to the Salem Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

West Bolivar's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Salem, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-11.

West Bolivar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Salem, they will square off against Stringer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
