Basketball Recap: King's Academy Wins Going Away Against KACHEA

It was a proper cat-fight when King's Academy challenged KACHEA on Tuesday. The King's Academy Lions were the clear victor by a 68-47 margin over the KACHEA Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grant Thompson, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 17 points and five assists. Andrew Joyner was another key player, putting up eight points and five boards.

The victory got King's Academy back to even at 13-13. As for KACHEA, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.

King's Academy has already played their next contest, a 69-54 win against Providence Academy on the 11th. As for KACHEA, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-47 loss against Tri-Cities Christian on the 11th.
