Softball Recap: West Campus Warriors vs. Leroy Greene Academy Lions
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Laguna Creek, West Campus was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Leroy Greene Academy Lions 20-1. The high-scoring effort was just what the Warriors needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Analisa Mederos was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one RBI.

In other batting news, West Campus got a massive performance out of Milana Hess, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. The dominant performance gave Hess a new career-high in RBI. Sophia Quiroz was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.
West Campus always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .717. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Leroy Greene Academy only posted an OBP of .263.
