Basketball Recap: South Lake Comes Up Short

South Lake was the 58-48 winner over Chippewa Valley when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The match between the South Lake Cavaliers and the Chippewa Valley Big Reds didn't end well, with the South Lake Cavaliers falling 67-48. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Chippewa Valley, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Lake will venture away from home to face off against East Kentwood at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chippewa Valley, they are taking a road trip to square off against Berkley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Chippewa Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
