Basketball Recap: Monroe County's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Monroe County won against Glasgow last Tuesday with 73 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Monroe County Falcons managed a 73-67 win over the Warren East Raiders. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The victory got Monroe County back to even at 14-14. As for Warren East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monroe County will venture away from home to take on Greenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren East, they will head out to square off against Franklin-Simpson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin-Simpson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
