After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Piedra Vista, Miyamura was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Silver Fighting Colts by a score of 7-3. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Fighting Colts: they've now won three in a row.

Felix Lopez and Marshall Livingston did most of the damage at the plate: Lopez scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Livingston scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. Lopez also put up a hit, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Sean Torres, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3.

Miyamura was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Miyamura's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Silver, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
