Basketball Recap: Caro Tigers vs. Reese Rockets
The Caro Tigers waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 56-49 win over Reese. This was payback for Caro, who suffered a 52-47 loss the last time these two teams met.
Caro found their leader in underclassman Connor McGarry, who scored 25 points. McGarry continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jaidon Buniack was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Caro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Reese, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caro will take on the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Unionville-Sebewaing is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Reese will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th.
