Soccer Recap: Canterbury Comes Up Short

Canterbury lost against Bishop Verot back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Canterbury Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Verot Vikings. One reason for the loss might be the Cougars' aggressive play style: Uriyah Harness and Tristan Choui were both handed yellow cards.

Canterbury's loss dropped their record down to 11-2-1. As for Bishop Verot, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-0-4.

Canterbury will face off against Aubrey Rogers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Verot, they will square off against Gulf Coast at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
