Baseball Recap: Hancock Falls to Mountain Ridge in First Game of Season

Hancock unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 12-4 to the Mountain Ridge Miners on Thursday. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 9-4 to the Miners when the teams met back in April of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Blaire Ray was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 1-for-2.

Hancock has already played their next match, a 6-5 defeat against Shanksville Stonycreek on the 17th. As for Mountain Ridge, they will head out to face off against Fort Hill at 11:00 a.m. on March 22nd.
