Soccer Recap: Cedar Shoals Comes Up Short

Cedar Shoals lost against North Oconee back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cedar Shoals Jaguars lost 6-1 to the North Oconee Titans. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Jaguars were already down 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Zulma Valdivieso-Gutierrez, who's now up to 28 this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Cedar Shoals and nudges their season record down to 4-5. As for North Oconee, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Shoals will take on Walnut Grove at 5:30 p.m. on March 18th. As for North Oconee, they will square off against Mill Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
