Mount Academy had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Clarkstown South Vikings. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Their offense was headlined by Julia Swinger and Gina O'Connell, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Marion Winter and her 17 assists. O'Connell also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kayla Paul, each putting up three.

Mount Academy's victory bumped their record up to 28-3-2. As for Clarkstown South, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-1 record this season.

Mount Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Delaware Valley on the 18th. Clarkstown South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
