Daughter of Randy Moss commits to Florida

Kentucky guard Sydney Moss averaged 22 points and 10.8 rebounds per game as a junior; Home-schooled Moriah Jefferson commits to Connecticut.

Sydney Moss, daughter of NFL star Randy Moss, has made a commitment to the University of Florida women's basketball program, according to Jody Demling of the Louisville Courier-Journal.

One of the top juniors in the country, the 5-foot-11 guard averaged 22 points and 10.8 rebounds this year at Boone County (Florence, Ky.).

She also considered West Virginia, Louisville, Miami and LSU.

* The nation's No. 1-ranked junior point guard, Moriah Jefferson, has committed to the University of Connecticut, according to the Hartford Courant.

The 5-7 Jefferson is home-schooled in Glenn Heights, Texas.



She also considered Baylor and NCAA champion Texas A&M.
