Glen Rock picks up fourth straight win on the road

Recap: Glen Rock Panthers vs. River Dell Golden Hawks

The Glen Rock Panthers had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Sunday. They walked away with a 56-49 win over River Dell. This was payback for Glen Rock, who suffered a 38-35 defeat the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why River Dell lost, one person who can't be blamed is Sean Golden. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten rebounds. Golden has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of David Nunez, who scored six points along with two blocks.

Glen Rock's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for River Dell, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

As for River Dell, they will head out on the road to face off against Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
