Bristol-Plymouth RVT has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.33 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 19-6 to the Westwood Wolverines. The Craftsmen's loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Cameron Wilbur made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Benevides, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Bristol-Plymouth RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Westwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
