Softball Recap: Wilson Takes a Loss

Wilson lost against Athens back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 5-4.

Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 21-17. As for Athens, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Wilson and Athens will both be playing Colbert Heights the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Golden Eagles will head out to face them at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
