Volleyball Recap: Dublin Jerome Takes a Loss

Dublin Jerome entered their game against Thomas Worthington on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Celtics came up short against the CARDINALS, falling 3-0. If the Celtics were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the CARDINALS when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-11.

Drew Barnes was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 13 digs. Finn Rubin also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Dublin Jerome's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Thomas Worthington, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Dublin Jerome wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Bishop Watterson on the 12th. As for Thomas Worthington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Archbishop Moeller on the 12th.
