Jamarcea Plater Earns League's Top Spot

Starting off the list is Captain Shreve's Jamarcea Plater, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Plater's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 175 rushing yards.

Damari Drake helped snap Evangel Christian Academy's four-game losing streak. Drake turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, making 16 total tackles (1.0 for loss). He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in the last five games he's played.

On the year, Drake has averaged 12.6 total tackles per game.
