Volleyball Recap: Auburn Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Auburn lost against Giles back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Giles, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Auburn and Giles should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Eagles will face off against George Wythe at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (59 vs. 292). Meanwhile, Giles (ranked 13th) will meet Blacksburg (ranked 130th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
