Volleyball Recap: Maypearl Comes Up Short

Maypearl was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Canton Eagles.

Maypearl's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Canton, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 10-9 record.

Maypearl wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Edgewood on the 23rd. As for Canton, they will square off against Sulphur Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
