Football Game Preview: Lexington Golden Bears vs. Winston County Yellowjackets + How To Watch

The Lexington Golden Bears will take on the Winston County Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Friday, Lexington was fully in charge, breezing past Wilson 56-20. The Golden Bears pushed the score to 35-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had little chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, while Winston County put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Curry. Winston County blew past Curry 22-0. Winston County hasn't had any issues with Curry recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Winston County back to even at 3-3. As for Lexington, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Lexington suffered a grim 32-6 defeat to Winston County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Golden Bears, Chris Clemons (who rushed for 111 yards and three TDs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
