Basketball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 57-42 to Potosi/Cassville. The Cardinals were probably out for revenge after losing 63-53 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Potosi/Cassville, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland will venture away from home to take on Benton at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Highland is facing Benton at the right time seeing as Benton is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Potosi/Cassville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Belmont at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
