Baseball Recap: Webster Groves Statesmen vs. Lindbergh Flyers
Webster Groves extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 5-9. They lost 15-0 to the Lindbergh Flyers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Statesmen of the 5-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.
As for Lindbergh, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
