Softball Recap: Los Altos Conquerors vs. San Dimas Saints
Los Altos barely beat San Dimas the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Conquerors were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Saints on Friday. The Conquerors haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Kaylahni Duenas was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Duenas was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Brianah Alejandre was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Esmeralda Soto, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Los Altos always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Dimas only posted an OBP of .333.
Los Altos' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-8. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for San Dimas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-11-1.
Looking ahead, Los Altos will take on Colony at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Conquerors are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for San Dimas, they will challenge Duarte at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Saints surely won't give up without a fight.
