After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heritage Hills, Mt. Vernon was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Evansville Bosse Bulldogs 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mt. Vernon was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-6, 25-14.

Stella Hall paced Mt. Vernon's offense, picking up ten kills. Hall got some help from Maiya Jones and her 18 assists. Hall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The win snapped Mt. Vernon's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 6-12 record. As for Evansville Bosse, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Mt. Vernon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Evansville Memorial on the 24th. As for Evansville Bosse, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Evansville Reitz on the 29th.
