The Gardendale Rockets got the win against the McAdory Yellowjackets on Tuesday by a conclusive 15-9. Considering the Rockets have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gardendale has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for McAdory, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gardendale will welcome Springville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McAdory, they will host Hueytown at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Gophers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Yellowjackets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
