Softball Recap: James Monroe Comes Up Short

James Monroe lost against Culpeper County back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 11-1.

James Monroe has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Culpeper County, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-9.

Looking ahead, James Monroe will venture away from home to take on Courtland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Culpeper County, they will welcome Albemarle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
