North Mecklenburg came out on top against West Charlotte on Monday thanks in part to Phillip Collareta's efforts. Collareta scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Collareta's strong effort led North Mecklenburg over West Charlotte and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings are a perfect 10-0 against the Lions going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
