Volleyball Recap: Crawford's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Crawford waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Calvin Christian Crusaders. That's more bragging rights for the Colts, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Crawford might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Calvin Christian scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-21.

Nibhan Mohamed paced Crawford's offense, picking up nine kills. Mohamed got some help from Adolfo Ventura and his 23 assists. Ventura was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Crawford's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Calvin Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Coming up, Crawford will venture away from home to take on Castle Park at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Calvin Christian, they will welcome Tri-City Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
