Baseball Recap: Killian's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Killian's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Braddock Bulldogs, sneaking past 5-3. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 10-7 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sebastian Perez looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Killian is 4-2 when Perez allowsone or fewer hits, but 2-5 otherwise.

At the plate, Killian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jahdon Heron, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. What's more, Heron posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February.

Killian's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7. As for Braddock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-3-1.

Looking ahead, Killian will face off against Calvary Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Braddock, they will square off against St. Brendan at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Braddock is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
