Soccer Recap: Caldwell County Comes Up Short

Caldwell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hopkins County Central Storm. Caldwell County were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hopkins County Central apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Caldwell County's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Hopkins County Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Caldwell County will be playing at home against Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hopkins County Central, they will venture away from home to take on Muhlenberg County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
