Basketball Game Preview: Normandy Invaders vs. Garrett Morgan Falcons

The Normandy Invaders will face off against the Garrett Morgan Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Normandy was able to grind out a solid victory over Max S. Hayes, taking the game 42-33.

Meanwhile, Garrett Morgan put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Bard Early College with points to spare, taking the game 75-57. While the Falcons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Garrett Morgan's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.7 points per game. As for Normandy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Normandy strolled past Garrett Morgan in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a score of 66-47. Does Normandy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Garrett Morgan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
