Trey Davis posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Davis and Jefferson County will take on East Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Davis had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest on March 5th 17-4.
