Softball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Crimson Cliffs

Crimson Cliffs waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Dixie Flyers 11-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-1 on Tuesday.

Crimson Cliffs got a massive performance out of Emma Leishman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Paige Tuckfield, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Crimson Cliffs was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2024.

Crimson Cliffs' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Dixie, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-17.
