Softball Recap: Howard Huskies vs. Peach County Trojans
Howard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Peach County Trojans. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Huskies couldn't push the score so high this time.
Howard's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Peach County, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
Howard will welcome First Presbyterian Day at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. First Presbyterian Day knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten run or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Howard likes a good challenge. As for Peach County, they will head out to face off against Rutland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Peach County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11 runs per game this season.
