After a string of 19 wins, Eaton's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They came up short against  the Valor Christian Eagles, falling  3-0. Considering the last time the Reds couldn't score was  back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.
 Madi Smith paced Eaton's offense, picking up nine kills. Smith got some help from  Trinity Salberg and her 11 assists.
  Harper Scott had a dynamite game For Valor Christian.,  getting 17  digs and four  aces. Scott is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in each of the last three games she's  played.
Eaton's defeat dropped their record down to 19-2. As for Valor Christian, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record  this season.
 Eaton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  loss against Montrose on the 1st. Valor Christian has also already played their next  matchup (against University), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
