Northwestern is 4-0 against Black River since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Northwestern Huskies will head out on the road to face off against the Black River Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Northwestern will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-43, which was the final score in Northwestern's tilt against Hillsdale on Friday.

Meanwhile, Black River was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 55-49 to Plymouth. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Black River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything came up roses for Northwestern against Black River in their previous matchup back in February of 2017, as the team secured a 90-36 win. Will Northwestern repeat their success, or does Black River have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
