 Sadly, Parkview is still looking for their first win of the season after seven  matchups. They fell victim to a  tough 15-0 loss at the hands of the Benton Cardinals  on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Parkview of the  11-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April of 2023.
 For Benton's part,  Zaidyn Woodward looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits over four innings pitched.
 On the hitting side,  Carson Schmidt was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3.  Chris Coy was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.
 Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Benton, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
 Parkview will be playing in front of their home fans against Bolivar at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Benton, they will head out on the road to  take on  Chillicothe at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Benton's pitching crew has only allowed 2.3  runs per game  this season, so Chillicothe's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
