Millersport's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Raver led the charge by dropping a double-double with ten points and 12 boards. Raver has become a key player for Millersport: the team is 5-2 when she posts at least ten rebounds, but 4-12 otherwise. Meanwhile, Delaware Christian entered their tilt with Northside Christian on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 39-13 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 20 points or more this season.
Delaware Christian's win came from a few key players Millersport will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Julia Pearch, who had ten points along with six steals and five assists. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Beard, who earned 13 points in addition to six boards and four steals.
Delaware Christian pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.3 points. As for Millersport, their record now sits at 9-14.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Millersport has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 35.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Delaware Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25.7 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
