Basketball Game Preview: Grind Prep G.R.I.N.D vs. Douglass Trojans

The Grind Prep G.R.I.N.D will take on the Douglass Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Grind Prep didn't have too much trouble with Sunrise Christian Academy as they won 78-64. The game marked the G.R.I.N.D's most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, Douglass won against Del City on Monday with 77 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Trojans beat Dallas Christian Academy by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 77-52. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked fifth in Oklahoma, while Dallas Christian Academy are ranked 641st in Texas) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Douglass is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points over those games. As for Grind Prep, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
