Soccer Recap: West Charlotte Triumphs + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Monroe, West Charlotte was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Considering West Charlotte's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Sugar Creek Charter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Carlos Mendoza (3), Joel Mason, and Price Oliver.

West Charlotte's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Sugar Creek Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, West Charlotte will challenge Hillside at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sugar Creek Charter, they are taking a road trip to take on Carolina International at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
