Soccer Game Preview: Mitchell vs. Alameda + Official Tickets

The Mitchell Marauders will face off against the Alameda Pirates at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Mitchell is headed into Saturday's match following a draw, the team's first since September 23. Neither they nor Falcon could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alameda). Everything went their way against Lake County on Tuesday as they made off with a 7-4 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 6-0.

Mitchell's draw gives them a new season record of 7-5-2. As for Alameda, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-9-1.

Mitchell took their victory against Alameda in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 5-1 score. Do the Marauders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
