Soccer Game Preview: LaFayette vs. Dade County

The LaFayette Ramblers are headed away from home for the first time to face off against the Dade County Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. LaFayette will be strutting in after a victory while Dade County will be coming in after a defeat.

LaFayette is headed out to face Dade County after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. LaFayette's defense stepped up to hand Ridgeland a 1-0 shutout two weeks ago. Emma Brown had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Ramblers.

Meanwhile, while the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Coahulla Creek who was credited with the win on Tuesday. Coahulla Creek got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Dade County's one.

LaFayette suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Dade County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can LaFayette avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
